We’re thrilled to welcome Stacey Fernandes as its new Chief Technology Officer. Stacey, who has over 25 years of international technology and product development leadership, comes to Versetal with boundless energy and extensive experience in technical team leadership, data architecture, artificial intelligence, and data engineering.

Prior to Versetal, Stacey held senior leadership positions at premier organizations including Monster Worldwide, OwlHub, Inc, PlanHub Inc and Active Network, Inc. A prolific problem solver, Stacey spearheaded the development of enterprise analytics data monetization platforms at Active Network and PlanHub as their CTO, steering phenomenal growth for both companies. At Monster Worldwide, she held the position of Senior Director of Global Data Architecture and Database Engineering, architecting and overseeing Monster’s global data infrastructure and designing their Enterprise-Wide Data Factory, otherwise known as the “Monster House.”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Stacey demonstrated exceptional leadership and agility at Active Network by guiding a global development team through the company’s pivot to virtual events and contactless payment solutions. Her ability to learn quickly, adapt, and deploy innovative solutions in challenging circumstances has been the hallmark of her career. As a human first leader and avid advocate for women in technology, Stacey co-created the first AI-powered coaching co-pilot , “Ollie”. Stacey’s love for continuous learning is evident in her non-traditional educational history, holding a B.A. from Stonehill College in English/Management Information Systems/Paralegal Studies.
